The following process includes breakdown, rib duplication, fitting and ribbing of soundboard, recapping of bridge, gluing in of soundboard, setting of downbearing, notching of bridge, removal and duplication of pin block, spraying of plate, reassembly, and restringing. These processes were performed primarily on Steinway and Mason and Hamlin grand pianos.
